Taylor Swift's full name can be described as Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular artist and singer in the beginning of 2001 when she began sharing her stories of heartache. Swift began to show an interest in the music industry from a very young age. Swift's career grew rapidly from children's play roles, through her first public appearance the presence of thousands. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and the following year she began playing guitar and began writing songs. Swift was inspired to write her own material by artists from the country genre such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift left Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend her time in contacting country labels.
